Public Library Age-Specific Service Network
Public libraries promote life-long learning and national reading, and it has been upgraded to the professional service stage of age-specific. Based on the needs of different service objects, libraries provide more professional and deeper information content to highlight professional value of library services.
According to “Complete Operating System for Public Libraries and Organizational System Development Supervision Work Program” published by Ministry of Education, five age-specific service platforms were established for infants & toddlers, children, young adults, the silver-haired, and new immigrants. Through collective integration by each county and city and disclosure of relevant service information and resources to enrich and enhance age-specific service resources and content at public libraries in each county and city.
