Open hours of each Micro Library will be based on the open hours of where it is installed.
(1) Local Tax Bureau, Hsinchu City (matching with the open hours of the car park): 24 hours, Monday to Sunday
(2) Chaiciao Community Center, Hsinchu City: 24 hours, Monday to Sunday
(3) Mingzhi Academy Multi-storey Car Park: 24 hours, Monday to Sunday
(4) Xiangshan Administration Building: 24 hours, Monday to Sunday
Micro Library introduction:
To enhance the convenience of the public access to libraries, three units of self-service book borrowing and returning machines were installed in public areas with crowds at the city center from 2020. It is called Micro Library and located at Local Tax Bureau, Chaiciao Community Center, Mingzhi Academy Multi-storey Car Park (the original auditorium was relocated in July, 2023, to ensure convenience and traffic flow for the public in response to the construction of the Main Library). Because of the effectiveness achieved and being well received by the public, the fourth Micro Library was launched at Xiangshan Administration Building (No. 188, Yude St., Hsinchu City) in July 2023.
